Main Street Landing Company has won the 2002 Energy Star for Small Business Award. This award is issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
The award program recognizes firms which have exemplified the EPA’s Energy Star goals of common-sense, profitable efficiency improvements through better lighting, building tune-ups, electricity load reductions, efficient HVAC (heating/ventilation/air-conditioning) and office equipment, and other steps. These initiatives not only make Main Street Landing more competitive, but they also conserve natural resources, and help prevent pollution association with climate change.
